Mastiff’s highly skilled workforce are trained and qualified to industry standards and have an array of knowledge when it comes to heavy lifting methods and providing lifting solutions. The team have experience working in a range of industries and are fully compliant with site rules and regulations.
Lifting Specialists
Mastiff’s experienced and knowledgeable lift specialists can tailor a solution to meet your lifting needs. Our team have developed tried and tested work systems over the years throughout a variety of industrial sectors. From inception our team will ensure your project is planned and executed safely and efficiently with limited impact on good manufacturing practices or services in the area.
Appointed Persons
CPCS/CSCS trained and qualified with expert knowledge in lifting operations. Mastiff’s appointed persons work directly with our team of lift specialists ensuring each project is executed efficiently and professionally. The appointed person assigned to manage a lift will visit site, create a lift plan/s, oversee all cranage in accordance with the lifting regulations and best practices while working alongside the team of riggers and operators.
Supervisors & Riggers
Mastiff’s Supervisors and Riggers are trained, qualified and competent. All are CSCS qualified and very experienced in loading, unloading, rigging and the movement of large heavy loads. Mastiff’s Supervisors expertly organize and direct their respective crews ensuring compliance with site safety regulations, permits and the (MSRA) method statement risk assessment.
Machine Operators
All machine operators are trained and qualified to industry standards. Whether it is a spider crane, forklift, telehandler or Hiab, Mastiff’s team of machine operators are skilled and experienced, working directly with Mastiff’s lifting specialists and riggers to ensure each project is completed as efficiently as possible.
General Operatives
The minimum training for this category of worker is safe pass and manual handling. Mastiff’s general operatives assist the rigging team with a variety of duties including housekeeping, access and egress of tools, fire watching and spotting as well as many others. They are continually provided with internal training in a variety of lifting techniques by management and senior personnel.
Administration
The company management and administration team work directly with our clients and the rigging team assigned to each project. Preparation and organization are prioritized to ensure full compliance with the health and safety requirements of our clients and the site in question. Building client relationships and trust is significantly important to Mastiff, from project inception to execution.
